Founded by Alexandra Blue, the company has a strong track record with award-winning short films, with a feature film and television development slate backed by top financiers and funding bodies. Alexandra Blue is an award-winning creative producer championing bold, original and talent-led storytelling across film and television. She has held in-house development roles at leading UK production companies including Eleven Films Heyday, Element Pictures and Warp, and now produces through her company, Bluebird Productions, where she is developing a slate of distinctive feature films and television series with emerging and established voices. Her feature slate includes projects in development with Netflix, BBC, Film 4 and BFI. In television, Alexandra is co-developing original series with Eleven and Various Artists Limited.

Alexandra’s work has been widely recognised internationally. Her short films have been Oscar-longlisted and acclaimed at major festivals, selected titles include End-O (dir. Alice Seabright), Martha (BFI Network), Cinderella Games (commissioned by the English National Ballet), Holy Cannelloni (a Creative England and BFI-funded pilot for feature Pizza Face), and Welcome to Iron Knob, winner of Short Film of the Decade at the Australian Academy Awards.

Alexandra’s accolades include Film London Lodestar, BFI Insight Producer, the John Brabourne Award, and Emerging Producer of the Year. With experience spanning development, production and post, Alexandra brings a collaborative, rigorous and creatively ambitious approach to building work for the screen.
